What is the Membership Program?
This membership is designed to provide comprehensive and personalized women’s care services. For a single, predictable, and low flat monthly fee, members receive unparalleled access and quality of care directly from Dr. King. Under this patient-centered model, Dr. King provides the option of not billing health insurance companies. By eliminating this intermediary, the focus is placed entirely back on the relationship between the patient and the physician.
How does a Membership benefit me?
It is designed to be the ideal choice for individuals who are enrolled in high-deductible health insurance plans or who prefer a direct-care model. It not only offers significantly enhanced access to Dr. King and substantially more dedicated time for in-depth consultations and personalized care planning but also includes the following exclusive benefits:
● Financial Simplicity: The flat monthly fee covers the vast majority of primary care and women’s health services, ensuring transparency and predictability in healthcare costs.
● Enhanced Access and Time: Dr. King can dedicate more time to each patient, offering more appointment options and increased availability.
● Patient-Centered Care: The decision not to bill insurance allows for treatment plans to be driven purely by what is best for the patient’s health, rather than what is covered or dictated by an insurance policy. This fosters a truly personalized and holistic approach to women’s wellness.
Will Dr. King be in-network with healthcare plans?
Yes! Dr. King will still be in-network with most insurance plans at this time. However, beginning January 2026, she will no longer be in-network with Providence insurance plans. Our Membership Program is designed as an option to continue care. We will provide sufficient notice if and when other changes arise.
Do I have to sign up for membership to be treated by Dr. King?
No. You are more than welcome to utilize any in-network coverage for treatment.
What is the ongoing Membership fee?
Enrollment requires a one-time, non-refundable fee of $99. Additionally, a one-year contract, auto-payment, and two forms of payment on file are required.
The monthly membership fee is based on the following tiers::
● Ages 15-26: $115 per month
● Ages 27-43: $135 per month
● Ages 44-60: $150 per month
● Ages 61-74: $165 per month
● Age 75+ $190 per month
Is this health insurance?
No. It’s comprehensive primary care and support outside traditional insurance, designed to give you real connection and continuity with your clinician.
Will I need to keep medical insurance?
Yes! We recommend that you maintain medical insurance to cover the costs of hospitalizations, emergency room visits, lab, and/or diagnostic testing. We verify eligibility and benefits, for naturopathic care only. This verification does not guarantee coverage on medication(s), labs, and/or imaging. It is imperative for you as the patient to confirm with your insurance regarding any third party billing. Direct communication with your insurance provider is highly recommended for the most accurate information.
Will I need insurance for labs?
Yes. However, Dr. King’s office will also offer RUPA Health for lab testing.
What is RUPA health?
A lab ordering platform that makes the lab testing process easier! They partner with over 30+ labs to provide thousands of tests that Dr. King can order to discover the root cause of your symptoms. All prices are listed (within their portal), allowing you to immediately see your bill. RUPA can also create a super bill and submit it to your insurance. What if I need labs or specialists?
Membership covers your direct care with Dr. King — labs and specialist care are handled with transparency and your guidance. We help coordinate but don’t file insurance for labs.
